Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be aged 18–35 by the date of the One Young World 2025 Summit in November.
  • Actively engaged in youth employment or job creation (e.g., as entrepreneurs or in similar roles) and able to demonstrate this involvement.
  • Be nationals and residents of one of the eligible countries: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iraq (including Kurdistan region), Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Mozambique, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Tunisia, Uganda. Refugees are also eligible.
  • Be available to participate full-time from November 2–7, including pre- and post-programme events.
  • Have a working understanding of English (as all programmes are conducted in English).

Fellowships Values

Recipients of the scholarship will receive:

  • Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany (November 3–6).
  • Hotel accommodation during the Summit, including additional nights for visa processing (if needed).
  • Economy-class international flights and domestic travel to the airport for the Summit.
  • Visa application costs, including travel for appointments if necessary.
  • Meals: Breakfast at the hotel, and lunch and dinner at the Summit.
  • Transportation between the accommodation and Summit venue.
  • Lifetime membership in the One Young World (OYW) community.
  • Participation in additional events organized by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Required Documents

  • Documentation supporting eligibility (e.g., refugee status proof, residency in eligible country).
