Details of the Scholarship
Covers 50% or 100% of full-time master’s tuition fees for one year
Supports students who demonstrate a plan for impactful development solutions for their home countries
Eligibility Requirements
Must be domiciled in Africa, India, or one of the eligible Commonwealth countries
Classified as an overseas student for fee purposes
Must hold an offer for a full-time master’s (including MRes) in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Science, or Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Nottingham for the 2025/26 academic year
Ineligibility Criteria
Current students or graduates of the University of Nottingham
Individuals who have previously studied for a degree outside their home country (with exceptions for eligible countries on a case-by-case basis)
Students currently studying in the UK

50% or 100% tuition fee coverage, depending on scholarship awarded

Apply for and receive an offer for a full-time master’s or MRes program at the University of Nottingham.
After receiving an offer, apply for the scholarship through NottinghamHub.

Application Criteria
Applicants are assessed on their vision and actionable plan for contributing solutions to key challenges in their home countries
Applications should clearly connect the learning outcomes of the chosen course to the applicant’s proposed solutions
Applications will also be evaluated based on reasons for studying at Nottingham and notable achievements
Scholarship Requirements
Scholarship awards (50% or 100% of tuition) are only available to students who accept their offer of admission
International scholarships cannot be combined with other competitive University scholarships
