Details of the Scholarship
- Up to three (3) In-Country and seven (7) In-Region scholarships available.
- Offered for Master studies at WACCI, University of Ghana.

- Inclusivity: Encourage participation of women and underprivileged groups.
- Strengthening Institutions: Enhance partner institutions’ capacities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Eligibility Requirements
- Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class/Upper Division or equivalent).
- Strong motivation and proficiency in the language of instruction.
- Degree must have been obtained within the last six years.
- Must be a national or permanent resident of a Sub-Saharan African country.
- Eligible applicants include public university staff, teaching/research staff candidates, public sector employees, and DAFI program alumni.
- Priority for female applicants, recognized refugees, and those from underprivileged backgrounds.
- Previous DAAD Master’s scholarship recipients are ineligible.
Scholarship Values
- Tuition Fees: Specified in the Letter of Award.
- Study and Research Allowance: EUR 460 annually.
- Thesis Publishing Costs: EUR 400 (once).
- Monthly Scholarship:
- In-Country: EUR 400
- In-Region: EUR 500
- Travel Allowance (In-Region only): Provided at the start and end of the scholarship.
- Health Insurance (In-Region only): Details specified in the Letter of Award.
