Lusail University (LU) is the first private state university in Qatar to offer academic programs that contribute to the training of trained and qualified professionals to serve the local and international job market. Lusail University currently offers 12 Qatar Scholarships programs.

Eligibility for the Undergraduate Scholarship

  • Have a high school diploma with an overall grade of 90% or higher
  • Be between 18 and 22 years of age
  • Pass a personal interview
  • Pass the Lusail University language test
  • Applicant may not have previously obtained any certificate from an institution of higher education
  • Applicant may not be residents of Qatar

Required documents:

  • Upon the student’s arrival in Qatar, a medical certificate certifying medical fitness will be issued as a medical examination.
  • Failure to pass the medical examination will result in exclusion from the selection process.
  • Police clearance certificate from the home country
  • Written permission from legal guardian to allow participation in the scholarship
  • Certified birth certificate
  • Valid passport
  • High school graduation qualification certified by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the applicant’s country, provided that a certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Qatar through Lusail University is of equivalent quality.

Students admitted to the Qatar scholarship program will be provided with:

  • A round-trip flight ticket from their home-country to Doha, Qatar
