Supporting Categories, Duration, and Instruction Language

  2. Duration
    • Scholarship covers major study and/or Chinese language preparatory study:
      • Undergraduate students: 4-5 years, plus 1-2 years for language study if required.
      • Master’s students: 2-3 years, plus 1-2 years of language study if required.
      • Doctoral students: 3-4 years, plus 1-2 years of language study if required.
      • General and Senior scholars: Up to 1 year for major and language studies.
  3. Instruction Language
    • Undergraduate students: Required to take Chinese-taught courses; may need one year of preparatory Chinese study if no prior proficiency.

Scholarship Values

Full Scholarship

  • Tuition: Waived.
  • Accommodation: Free dormitory or accommodation subsidy.
    • CNY 700 per month for undergraduates and master’s students.
    • CNY 1000 per month for doctoral students.
  • Stipend:
    • Undergraduate: CNY 2,500/month.
    • Master’s students/general scholars: CNY 3,000/month.
    • Doctoral students/senior scholars: CNY 3,500/month.
  • Comprehensive Medical Insurance: Provided as per the insurance scheme for foreigners.

Partial Scholarship
