The Chinese University Program is a full scholarship aimed at attracting outstanding international students to pursue graduate studies at designated Chinese universities, including Beijing Normal University (BNU). The scholarship is available for Chinese- or English-taught programs.

Language Proficiency: Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must submit valid HSK certificates.
Scholarship Status: Applicants should not hold any other scholarships.
Age and Education Requirements:
Undergraduate applicants: High school diploma, under 25 years old.
Master’s applicants: Bachelor’s degree, under 35 years old.
Doctoral applicants: Master’s degree, under 40 years old.

Required Documents
Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form.
Copy of passport’s home page (valid beyond September 2023).
Notarized highest diploma or proof of student status.
Academic transcripts (undergraduate onward).
Language qualification certificates (HSK for Chinese-taught programs, IELTS/TOEFL for English-taught programs).
Pre-admission documents from the desired Chinese university (admission letter, pre-admission letter, or supervisor’s invitation letter).
Study plan (at least 1,000 words).
Two recommendation letters (from professors or associate professors).
Art-related works (for art/design majors).
Legal guardian documents (for applicants under 18).
Foreigner Physical Examination Form (completed in English).
Non-criminal record report.
How to Apply for the Scholarship
Prepare all application documents as per the BNU Admission Information for International Students.
Register and complete an online application on the BNU International Student Application System and pay the application fee.
Register on the CSC website, complete, print, and sign the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form (select “Type B” and use Agency Number 10027 for BNU).
Submit all application documents to BNU before the deadline.
