Brief Overview
The Chancellor’s International Scholarships are prestigious awards given to outstanding international PhD applicants who contribute to Warwick’s vibrant global research community. For the 2025/26 academic year, the university is allocating up to £5 million in scholarships, offering up to 42 awards.
Detail of the Scholarships
- Full payment of tuition fees for 3.5 years.
- Maintenance stipend paid at the prevailing UKRI rate for 3.5 years.
- Research, Training, and Supporting Grant (RTSG) of £5,000.
- Immigration financial support for eligible scholars.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must apply for a PhD program at the University of Warwick, starting in October 2025.
- Must be classified as an ‘overseas’ student for tuition fee purposes.
- Open to applicants from any discipline at Warwick.
- Scholarships cannot be deferred to the next academic year.
Scholarship Values
- Full tuition fees for the duration of the PhD program (3.5 years).
- Maintenance stipend at the UKRI rate.
- Research grant of £5,000.
- Financial support towards immigration costs (if eligible).

- Receive your 7-digit applicant ID number via email (allow 48 hours).
- Register your ITS applicant account.
- Submit the scholarship application by 12 December 2024 (GMT).
- Upload all supporting documents by 7 January 2025 (GMT).
