The AUC African Graduate Fellowship is open to nationals of African countries, excluding Egypt. This fully funded scholarship covers tuition, a monthly stipend, medical insurance, and accommodation. It is awarded for a maximum of five semesters and one summer session, with an extended duration of up to seven semesters for students in the Counseling Psychology program. Each recipient’s award is reviewed every semester based on satisfactory academic performance and requires full-time study, which generally consists of nine credits per semester or as specified by the program.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a non-Egyptian African national
  • Dual nationals with non-African citizenship are ineligible
  • Open to all fields of graduate study at AUC
  • New students must meet AUC’s graduate admissions requirements, including an International TOEFL iBT or academic IELTS score
  • Continuing students must maintain a GPA of 3.2 to retain the fellowship
