Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good health and at least 18 years old (born before September 1, 2007).
  • Possess a senior high school diploma with excellent academic performance.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (HSK Level 4 certificate with a minimum score of 180).
  • Fulfill the conditions of Document No. 12 (2020) by the Ministry of Education of China.

How to Apply for the Scholarship

  1. Visit the Nankai University International Students Application System.
  2. Create an account and complete the application form.
  3. Upload all required documents.
  4. Pay the application fee (400 RMB) online and submit your application.
  5. Applications are reviewed, and shortlisted candidates are invited for an integrative assessment.
  6. Assessments will be conducted in March, April, and May 2025.
  7. Top candidates are recommended for the Chinese Government Scholarship or awarded the “Study-at-NKU” President Scholarship.
  8. Admission results will be available from June 2025.
