Brief Overview
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) scholarship is offered by the Mundus MAPP Consortium, supported by the Erasmus+ initiative of the European Union. It is available for exceptional applicants from both within and outside the EU.
Details of the Scholarship
Administered centrally by Central European University Private University (CEU PU)
Assessment of candidates conducted collaboratively by the four consortium universities
Only applications submitted to CEU PU will be considered; applications to other Mundus MAPP universities are not accepted
Applicants can choose one of the following mobility tracks:
CEU PU-IBEI track – Global Public Policy specialization
CEU PU-York track – European Public Policy specialization
ISS-IBEI track – Political Economy and Development specialization
ISS-York track – Governance and Development specialization
Eligibility Requirements
Open to applicants worldwide
Only the top-ranked applicants are eligible for the EMJM scholarship
Applicants cannot receive an EMJM scholarship if they have already received one for any Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters program
Scholarship Values
Duration: 24 months
Monthly stipend: 1,400 EUR (up to a maximum of 33,600 EUR over 24 months)
Covers travel, visa, installation, and subsistence costs
Includes a full tuition-fee waiver
Additional financial support available for students with disabilities or specific needs
Host Countries: UK, Netherland, Spain, and Austria

No CEU application fee for this program unless applying for other CEU programs
How to Apply for the Scholarship
Complete and submit the online application form on the CEU PU application portal.
Indicate interest in the EMJM scholarship within the application form (no separate scholarship application is required).
Upload all required supporting documents as outlined in the application process.
