KFUPM Scholarship

Eligible Degree

• Full-time MS and PhD programs at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM)

Eligibility Requirements

General Requirements for MS and PhD Programs

• Master’s Programs in Engineering or Science:
  • A four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 for scholarship applicants (2.50/4.00 for non-scholarship)
  • TOEFL (minimum 520 PBT, 190 CBT, 70 iBT) or IELTS (minimum 6.0) scores required
  • Two letters of recommendation
• Master’s Programs in Business Administration:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00
  • TOEFL or IELTS score, GMAT score of 450 or above, and relevant coursework in calculus and computing
  • Three years of full-time work experience preferred
• PhD Programs:
  • Master’s degree with a GPA of 3.00/4.00 in both B.S. and M.S. degrees
  • TOEFL (minimum 550 PBT, 213 CBT, 80 iBT) or IELTS (minimum 6.5)
  • Two letters of recommendation
• Direct PhD Entry:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 and TOEFL/IELTS scores (same as PhD requirements)
