2025 Fully Funded ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship in China

The ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship provides an opportunity for up to 40 PhD students from developing countries to pursue doctoral degrees in China. Sponsored by the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS/UNESCO), this scholarship aims to promote science and technology collaboration among developing nations.

  • Eligibility:
    • Applicants must be from developing countries in the South.
    • Age limit: 35 (born after 1st January 1990).
    • Must hold an MSc degree.
    • Proficiency in English or Chinese is required.
    • Applicants should not hold Chinese citizenship or be enrolled in any doctoral program in China at the time of application.

Application Process:

  1. Application Period: 21 October 2024 – 15 February 2025.
  2. Submit your application via USTC or UCAS’s online portal.

  4. No need to find a supervisor before applying—professors will review applications and conduct interviews based on submitted materials.

Note: Applicants can only apply to one institution (USTC or UCAS) and one supervisor from one institute/school.
