Brief Overview
MESPOM is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s program offered by a consortium of four universities: Central European University (Austria), Lund University (Sweden), University of the Aegean (Greece), and the University of Manchester (UK). Since 2005, the program has prepared students to tackle complex environmental sustainability challenges through a multidisciplinary curriculum. Students gain academic and practical skills, participate in internships, and engage in real-world environmental problem-solving.

Detail of the Scholarships
- Program Duration: 24 months (120 ECTS credits)
- Location: Four partner universities (Austria, Sweden, UK, Greece) with additional partner organizations.
- Support Provided:
- Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) scholarships are available to outstanding students.
- Financial support for students with individual needs is also available.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a field related to environmental sciences, policy, management, engineering, or natural/social sciences.
- Applicants with other first degrees may be considered if they show commitment to environmental challenges through voluntary or professional work.
- English proficiency: Must submit standardized English language test scores (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) unless exempted.
- Admission is based on academic excellence, motivation, and relevant experience.
Scholarship Values
- Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) Scholarship:
- Covers travel, visa, installation, and subsistence costs.
- Monthly stipend: €1,400 per month for 24 months (totaling up to €33,600).
- Additional financial support is available for students with individual needs.

How to Apply for the Scholarships
