Eligibility Requirements
- Non-Chinese citizen with good health and academic performance
- Under 45 years for general scholars; under 50 for senior scholars
- Language Requirements:
- Chinese-taught programs: HSK Band 4 with scores above 180
- English-taught programs: TOEFL (560 paper-based/78 internet-based) or IELTS (6.0), with exemptions for native English speakers

How to Apply for the Scholarship
- Register and Complete the Online Application: Create an account on the CSC Study in China portal (campuschina.org) and fill out personal details.
- Select Program Category: Choose “Type B” and input the correct Agency Number for Hainan University (10589).
- Fill in Application Details: Complete all sections, including “Language Proficiency” and “Study Plan,” then upload supporting documents.
- Submit the Application: Carefully review before submission; edits are not allowed after submission.
- Print and Submit Application: Download the completed form and submit it to the dispatching authority in your country if required.
- Complete Hainan University’s Online Application: Submit scanned copies and finalize the application on Hainan University’s portal (hainanu.at0086.cn).

Scholarship Confirmation
- Hainan University reviews applications and nominates candidates.
