Details of the Scholarship
- Duration of Coverage: Scholarships are valid for up to four years or until graduation, whichever comes first.
- Application Process: Eligible students can apply for scholarships after they receive their unique student ID upon formal admission to ADU. Available scholarships appear on the student’s account page, and students can submit applications directly online.
Eligibility Requirements
- Each scholarship category has specific requirements, including CGPA thresholds and additional achievements in academics or sports.
- For certain scholarships, like the H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship, only UAE public school graduates in the top 20 and with specified EmSAT scores are eligible.
Eligible Countries
- Some scholarships are exclusive to UAE residents and GCC nationals, while others are open to all nationalities. International students may apply for scholarships like the Athletic Scholarship and Family Tuition Waiver but are not eligible for the Abu Dhabi University Scholarship or H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship.
Scholarship Values
- H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship: 100% tuition, application, registration, student services, and health fees waiver for top UAE public secondary school graduates.
- Athletic Scholarship: 25% tuition waiver for students with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, who participate actively on ADU sports teams.
- Academic Scholarship: 20% tuition waiver for undergraduate students with a CGPA of 3.6 or higher for two consecutive semesters.
- Merit-Based Graduate Scholarship: 25% tuition waiver for master’s students with a CGPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Alumni Scholarship: Available to master’s students with a CGPA of 3.0 or higher.
How to Apply for the Scholarship
- Eligible students can log in to their ADU account using their student ID to view and apply for available scholarships. Required documents should be uploaded, and the completed application form must be submitted online.
